Man accused of stealing 70 inch TV, PS3 | Crime

Decatur, AL (WAFF) - Decatur Police have charged a 21 year old man with theft, saying he stole a 70 inch television and PlayStation 3 from the Spring Avenue Wal-Mart earlier this year.

It happened on January 5th. Investigators say the crime was caught on security cameras, and that allowed them to identify Klent Dalton Palmer relatively quickly. An arrest warrant was issued on January 30th. However, it wasn't until this week that Palmer was located. He was arrested by Huntsville Police on an unrelated charge March 20th. After he was released by HPD, Decatur Officers took custody of him, and brought him back to Morgan County.

He's being held on a $5,000 bond.
