Reward offered for information on Decatur murder | Crime
Decatur, AL (WAFF) - Governor Robert Bentley is hoping that someone has information to solve a two week old murder case in Decatur.
The Governor's office announced today they're offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever killed Ana Chavez.
Chavez was found dead in her home on 15th Avenue on April 15th. Investigators say her 7 year old son found his mother's body when he came home from school that day. Chavez's 18 month old daughter was inside the home as well, but was not hurt.
