Decatur woman charged following forgery investigation | Crime
Decatur police reported that a woman was arrested following a forgery investigation.
Hill’s BP on Gordon Terry Parkway told police that someone had cashed forged checks at the store on Oct. 4. Officers said they developed Susan Gayle Rogers as a suspect during an investigation.
Police said Rogers was taken to the police department on Monday for further investigation. As a result of this investigation, Rogers was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, which is a Class C felony.
Rogers was processed in the Decatur City Jail and then transferred to Morgan County Jail on a $7,500 bond.
