Man arrested for trying to sell stolen goods | Crime
One man was arrested after some quick talk between Decatur police officers determined the man was trying to sell stolen goods.
Officers responded to a burglary at a person’s detached garage Friday. While responding to the victim, an officer was dispatched to MCR Alloys, where two people were attempting to sell items that were believed stolen.
The officers on both scenes were able to determine that the items being sold were the items being reported stolen from the crime scene. The two men attempting to sell items were detained and questioned.
Jason O’Neal Burgess was arrested and charged with third degree burglary. He was taken to the Morgan County Jail. His bond was set at $2,500.
