Police: Woman uses stolen prescription at pharmacy

Decatur Police arrested a woman they said used a forged prescription to try to buy prescription drugs.

Officers responded to the Rite Aid on Danville Road on Tuesday. When they arrived, they were told Iketta Cockrell was trying to buy Roxicodone with a forged prescription.

Officers spoke with a doctor at UAB Hospital who confirmed the prescription was forged and had been stolen from UAB Hospital.

Cockrell was arrested and charged with attempting to commit a controlled substance crime.
