Decatur man charged with distributing drugs near school | Crime

The Decatur Police Department has taken what it feels is a major drug supplier off the streets.

Christopher Derek Hood was arrested for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

In an investigation that started in August of 2012, police found Hood had been selling prescription pills within a three-mile radius of Decatur City Schools and public housing.

He was booked into the Decatur City Jail.
