Alleged drug dealer arrested in Decatur | Crime

A suspected drug dealer is behind bars thanks to an investigating conducted by the Decatur Police organized crime unit.

Agents said they began an investigation to target street level and upper level drug dealers.

On three occasions, a witness for the Decatur Police purchased marijuana from Cortez Moody.

Warrants were issued for his arrest.

On February 1, officers located him and arrested him. They seized his Lincoln Town Car as well as a large amount of cash.

When he was being booked, officers found crack cocaine on him.

He was charged with three counts of distribution of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
