Decatur Police arrest woman after baby tests positive for drugs | Crime
Decatur, AL (WAFF) - Decatur Police are pressing charges against a new mom after her baby tested positive for drugs.
Investigators say that Princess Abagail Theriot was arrested Monday at her home in Trinity and charged with Chemical Endangerment of a Child. They tell us that the child had THC (the active ingredient in marijuana) and opiates in it's system.
It's unknown if the child will suffer any long term issues from the exposure.
Theriot is being held in the Morgan County Jail on $2,500 bond.
