Decatur police arrested a woman after she attempted to purchase pain medications using a forged prescription.
Officers responded to Pill Box Pharmacy on Danville Road on Friday. Upon arrival, the pharmacist informed them that Amy Clemmons, 36, had brought in a prescription for two pain medications. Parkway Medical Hospital confirmed the prescription was forged.
Clemmons was arrested for attempting to commit a controlled substance crime. She is currently being held in Morgan County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
