Free pancakes from IHOP

IHOP is giving away free pancakes tomorrow!

It’s for IHOP’s seventh annual National Pancake Day.

IHOP will give each customer a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes.

They hope the customers will donate what they would have spent on pancakes to the Children’s Miracle Network.

National Pancake Day will be from 7:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. tomorrow, February 28, 2012.

Fitness Friday: Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  It's going to be a big meal, but to maintain your weight successfully, you don't want to be over restrictive either.

Anna Key with Huntsville Hospital Wellness center offers these tips to enjoy Thanksgiving without over doing it.

  1. Get your Thanksgiving meal out of the house ASAP!. Enjoy your meal that day and have a turkey sandwich or leftover vegetables the next day, but try to get the dressings and the casseroles out of the house.  You may also wanting try cooking less of those things so you don't have a lot of leftovers.
  2. If going to two Thanksgivings, you have to be choosy. Eat dessert at one dinner and not the other one.
