GARDENDALE, AL (WAFF)- The lawyer for an Alabama minister charged with murdering his wife said the pastor was in a "very dark place" at the time of the shooting.
Attorney Henry Lagman said Reverend Terry Greer had a string of health problems and other issues.
Greer is accused of shooting and killing his wife, Lisa Greer, and the wounding of their 18-year-old daughter on January 10th. Police said he then stabbed himself multiple times.
Greer remains hospitalized and was placed on a ventilator after developing pneumonia.
Police said he'll be taken to jail without bond after his release.
