Hackers target Morgan Co. government website | News

MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF)- Hackers targeted several local government websites. Technicians have been working to fix the Morgan County License Commissioner website after hackers disabled the websites home page and put up their own home page in its place.

IMS Enterprises manages the Morgan County License Commissioner website. The said no personal information was compromised because the server only stored data that had information pertaining to the License Commissioner, like their locations and hours.

The company also manages other municipality websites. They said those were hacked too. They did not have a full list of the websites that were affected.

The website was fixed by Noon Monday.
